Strengthen Your Ride. The SM-CRM86 aluminum chainrings are not only characterized by their excellent impact resistance, thanks to the Dynamic Chain Engagementtechnology they also offer outstanding chain retention. Perfectly matched to the Deore XT FC-M8200 crank, the 28-tooth version of the Direct Mount chainrings, for example, achieves its best performance in combination with the medium-length rear derailleur (RD-M8250-GS) and the cassette (CS-M8200) with 9-45 teeth from the same series.
