Lake MXZ305 on markkinoiden arvostetuin talvipyöräilykenkä. Sen lämpöä eristävä muotoilu, hengittävät ja vettä hylkivät materiaalit, huippuluokan pohja sekä BOA®-kiristysjärjestelmä tekevät siitä täydellisen valinnan kylmien ja haastavien olosuhteiden pyöräilijälle.
Lake loi vuonna 1997 ensimmäisen aidon talvipyöräilykengän, MXZ300:n. Nyt MXZ305 jatkaa perinnettä viidennessä sukupolvessa – entistä kehittyneempänä, parhaana talvipyöräilyyn suunniteltuna kenkänä.
- Saapasmaisen muotoilun ansiosta kenkä vangitsee lämminilmaa eristeeksi.
- Laajempi ja korkeampi varvaskotelo ("Winter Last") mahdollistaa hyvän verenkierron myös paksummilla sukilla. Lopputulos: jalat pysyvät lämpiminä ja kuivina kovimmissakin keleissä.
- Amerikkalainen täysnahkainen, vettä hylkivä päällinen.
- Saksalainen Helcor-nahkavahvike kärjessä suojaa kulumiselta ja kosteudelta.
- Outlast-vuori säätelee lämpöä ja siirtää kosteuden pois jalasta.
- 200 g Thinsulate-eristys pitää jalat lämpiminä ja kuivina.
- Nahkainen suojaläppä estää lumen ja lian pääsyn kenkään.
- SPD-yhteensopiva, lasikuituvahvisteinen nailonpohja tarjoaa jäykkyyttä ja mukavuutta.

Winter last
With a much wider and higher toe box than Lake's traditional lasts, the winter last allows the foot to circulate well, even when thicker socks are worn. The winter last is the standard for Lake winter cycling shoes.
Sole
The MXZ305 is built on Lake's Ultra Bomb-Proof Enduro sole with non-slip lug inserts. The rubber sole features glass-injected tread inserts, which are vertically injected micro glass fibers that grip virtually any surface. This outer tread is built around an SPD-compatible (MTB cleat) nylon outsole with fiberglass injection. What makes Lake's nylon sole truly world famous is its uncompromising comfort and performance. No other injection-molded nylon sole offers the same level of stiffness and comfort. This combination makes the shoe an all-round cycling shoe that is sure-footed and stable in every situation.
Upper material
The upper of the MXZ305 is made from American full-grain waterproof leather, combined with an abrasion-resistant and waterproof toe cover made from German Helcor leather, which ensures durability, comfort and longevity. The leather's excellent cold weather properties and natural breathability keep you warm and dry. The leather overlap keeps out snow and debris and protects your feet from the cold. The lining made of temperature-regulating Outlast material keeps the foot temperature constant and wicks away moisture. In addition, 200 grams of Thinsulate insulation provide a breathable, insulating barrier that keeps your feet dry and warm.
The upper is treated with a durable water repellant (DWR) coating that wears off over time. It is recommended to reapply a DWR spray 1-2 times per year for moderate riders and every 2-3 wet rides for daily riders.
Closure
The Mid Power M4 Cartridge Tongue-mounted BOA® Fit System dial is great for ice, dirt and other difficult conditions and is designed to be easily adjustable even with gloves on. The mid-capacity dial combines durability and closure strength to withstand intense forces and impacts without compromising fit. While the BOA® fit system is not unique in cycling, it's the way LAKE uses this dial system in conjunction with in-house design, development, pattern work, world-class lasts and selection of the best upper materials that makes this system so effective.

In 1997, Lake invented the first truly winter-specific cycling shoe, the MXZ300. The unique shape and construction of the shoe allows us to trap warm air, which is the best insulator for any type of footwear. The pattern is designed to not restrict blood flow to the foot, as it is the foot that generates the heat that the shoe is designed to trap. By trapping the heat in the form of air, two things remain possible: your foot stays warm and dry.
Because the MXZ305 uses a highly breathable leather upper and a temperature-regulating, moisture-wicking lining, sweat is wicked away from the foot so that it doesn't freeze on your foot and your foot stays comfortable. The MXZ305 is the fifth generation of this legacy and remains one of the best winter-specific cycling shoes.
Sizing suggestion: For use with winter socks, it is recommended to order the shoe 1-1.5 sizes larger than your usual Lake Cycling shoe size.
