Lightweight insulated shorts for cold-weather cycling

The Löffler PRIMALOFT® GOLD PL60 are ultra-light and warm insulated shorts designed for winter cycling and other activities in cold conditions. The 60g PrimaLoft® GOLD insulation protects the thighs and hip area from cold and wind chill without the bulk of heavy winter trousers.

The shorts can be worn as an extra layer over cycling shorts or winter tights. They are particularly practical in freezing temperatures, for e-biking, relaxed rides, and situations where activity levels and body heat production fluctuate significantly.

PrimaLoft® GOLD provides warmth even in damp conditions

These shorts feature 60g of PrimaLoft® GOLD insulation. The fine microfibers trap air to create a lightweight insulating layer that retains its warming properties even when damp.

The material is highly compressible, making the shorts easy to stow away in a backpack or gear bag as a spare layer. They work well in situations where you need quick warmth, such as during long descents, breaks, or when the weather turns colder during a ride.

The PrimaLoft® GOLD insulation in this model contains 55% recycled fibers.

Windproof yet breathable construction

The Windshell outer fabric provides effective protection against cold wind. The material is also water-repellent, offering protection against light rain, snow, and road spray, though it is not a fully waterproof rain garment.

The breathable construction helps excess heat and moisture escape during physical activity. Stretchy Thermo-Innenvelours panels enhance mobility and ensure a comfortable fit while in a cycling position.

Full-length side zippers for easy dressing

Full-length side zippers on both legs are one of the most practical features of the PL60 shorts. The shorts can be put on or taken off quickly without needing to remove your cycling shoes or other footwear.

This makes them an exceptionally good extra layer for changing conditions. You can take them along on a ride and simply put them on when needed.

The waistband is adjustable for a better fit, and reflective details increase visibility in low light.
