Seatpost travel ranges from 50 to 220 mm depending on use and bike, and the most common diameters are 27.2 mm, 31.8 mm and 34.9 mm. Zero-offset models ensure straight and safe movement on mountain bikes, while on road and gravel bikes, the seatpost clamp may have an offset that extends the reach.
