The tire features 396 crown-shaped carbide studs with aluminum bases, with increased stud height to maximize grip on ice. The stud pattern is optimized to ensure that as many studs as possible are in constant contact with the ground, providing consistent and predictable grip during braking, cornering, and straight-line riding without variations in grip across different parts of the tire.

The tire's tread pattern is progressive and fast, allowing it to perform reliably not only on ice but also in snow and mixed conditions, including partially thawed surfaces.
