The protective coating is suitable for both glossy and matte finishes. It can be used, for example, on paintwork, carbon fiber, metal parts, wheels, vinyl surfaces, and hard plastic parts. On matte surfaces, the coating may darken and deepen the tone slightly after curing, so testing on an inconspicuous area is recommended before treating the entire frame.

Instructions for use

1. Wash the bike thoroughly and ensure the surface is completely dry before treatment. The best results are obtained when the frame and surfaces to be treated are free of dirt, grease, wax, and detergent residues.

2. Check the condition of the paintwork before coating. The ceramic coating is extremely durable and can seal in existing marks, such as water spots, swirl marks, or small scratches.

3. Finish the surface with the pack's Surface Preparation Spray. Spray the agent onto a clean microfiber cloth and wipe the surfaces to be treated—including paintwork and other hard surfaces—thoroughly.

4. Apply the coating in a clean, dry, and cool area with good lighting and ventilation. Use protective gloves. If the surface is not factory-finished or you are unsure about the material's suitability, test the product first on an inconspicuous area.

5. Shake the Ceramic Coating bottle for about 10 seconds. Open the child-resistant cap and apply a small amount of coating to the included microfiber applicator. Only a thin and even layer of the product is needed.

6. Begin treatment from the top of the bike and work one frame tube or panel at a time. Apply the coating in cross-hatch, overlapping strokes to ensure the surface is covered evenly. Add more product to the applicator only when the application no longer feels smooth or the applicator does not glide easily over the surface.

7. Allow the wet coating to dwell for about 5 minutes. During this time, a rainbow-like film may form on the surface. Check at the same time that the entire area to be treated is covered evenly.

8. Buff the surface lightly with the included microfiber cloth using small circular motions until the surface is clear and even. Check the surface from multiple light angles and ensure all film residues have been removed. Do not let the wet coating dry on the surface for more than 5 minutes before buffing.

9. Allow the coating to cure in a dry and cool area for at least 24 hours before exposing the bike to water, rain, or riding conditions. For the best adhesion and durability, it is recommended not to wash the bike for the first 48 hours after treatment.

10. If desired, you can add a second layer once the first layer has fully cured. No new pre-treatment is needed; the second layer is applied in the same way as the first.

11. Maintain the coating by washing the bike regularly with a mild bike cleaner. Avoid harsh solvents and acidic cleaning agents, as they can weaken the durability of the ceramic coating.

12. When water beading or dirt repellency begins to diminish over time, the coating can be refreshed with a new thin layer. To maintain the best performance, the coating can be refreshed approximately every 6 months.
