Choose a suitable application method Chain Wax Cleaner can be used in three ways: - Spray directly onto the chain, cassette, chainrings and derailleur pulleys - Use with a chain cleaning tool for a better cleaning effect - Apply through a pressure washer to the entire drivetrain |

Allow to work Allow the cleaner to work for a moment before rinsing. The cleaner loosens factory grease, oil and old wax from the chain links and sprockets. |

Rinse thoroughly Rinse the chain and all drivetrain parts with clean water. Make sure no cleaner remains on the chain - residues would impair the adhesion of the wax. Tip: Repeat the cleaning if necessary if the chain has a lot of old grease or dirt. |

Dry completely before waxing Dry the chain and all drivetrain parts completely before applying Dark Energy wax. Moisture prevents the wax from adhering. Wait at least 15-30 minutes or dry with a cloth before applying the wax. |
