The Bike Bibshorts Hotbond is Löffler's bestseller among their bib shorts. The model's key feature is hotBOND technology, where ultra-low ultrasonic welds are used instead of traditional seams. The purpose of this structure is to reduce pressure and chafing while improving comfort on long rides.
The main material is Elastic Interlock fabric, which features a fine mesh-like structure and a light compression effect. The material is durable, breathable, and quick-drying, making it well-suited for intensive road cycling and active training. Löffler states that the material is knitted exclusively in their own production facility in Ried im Innkreis, Austria.
The fit is supported by open-cut elastic braces, elastic leg cuffs with silicone grip, and a protective transtex® lining in the kidney area. The overall design keeps the shorts firmly in place and helps reduce air resistance. Reflective details increase visibility in dim conditions.
