Fitting Tip: For use with winter weight socks we recommend that you go 1 ~ 1.5 size up from your normal cycling shoes.

Winter Last – With a much wider & taller toebox than our traditional lasts, the Winter last allows the foot to maintain proper circulation even when thicker socks are worn. Our winter last is the standard for winter cycling footwear.

The new BOA tightening mechanism is even more robust and works better in demanding conditions. The larger dial is easier to use, even with gloves on. BOA is paired with a Click-Fit quick-release buckle that makes the shoe easier to put on. The tightening mechanism is covered by a lifetime warranty.

The water-repellent, breathable Pittards WR100 leather upper and Helcor leather panels make the shoe durable, comfortable, and long-lasting.

The full-length Outlast temperature-regulating lining, 200g Thinsulate insulation from the toe to the heel cup, and five-layer Thermosol insulating insole help keep your feet warm.

There is a thicker leather flap over the instep and a separate adjustment strap for a better fit. The leather flap adds warmth to a critical area of the foot while also preventing snow from accumulating on top of the shoe.

The heavy-duty Mountain V outsole by Vibram provides grip on slippery surfaces. Lake’s legendary nylon midsole is extremely comfortable and stiff.

The Thermosal winter insole consists of five layers and provides excellent insulation. Small air bubbles between the felt and aluminum layers create an insulating structure that retains heat effectively. Unlike in standard cycling shoes, the cleat is fully insulated from the foot; the cleat plate sits between the outsole and the insole, preventing a cold bridge from the pedal into the shoe.

For winter shoes, allow more room than you would in summer shoes. Choose one or two sizes larger than usual if you want to ride even in the harshest freezing temperatures.
