FOX Flexair Short 2026 MTB Shorts
The FOX Flexair Short 2026 is a completely redesigned version of Fox's top-tier MTB shorts. The new 2026 collection has been rebuilt from the ground up to emphasize lightness, mobility, and breathability for even more aggressive trail and racing use.
Redesigned 2026 Flexair – lighter, faster, and more technical
The 2026 Flexair collection has been influenced by Fox's World Cup-level SpeedSuit RS racing kit. Thanks to this, the new Flexair Short is compared to previous versions:

Fox completely redesigned the entire construction. The new shorts use an extremely lightweight ripstop stretch material, which offers maximum mobility without feeling heavy. The material adapts naturally to the riding position and makes the shorts feel almost unnoticeable even during long rides.
The shorts' new bonded waistband is one of the biggest updates. The seamless, slightly higher waist improves comfort in the riding position, reduces pressure on the stomach, and prevents the shorts from slipping down without constant adjustment.
Maximum breathability and mobility
The Flexair 2026 continues to use Fox's well-known technologies:
- TruMotion® 4-way stretch → maximum mobility
- TruDri® → effective moisture transfer
- laser-cut ventilation zones → increases airflow
The laser perforations are strategically placed in the hottest areas so that ventilation works effectively even during intense exertion. This makes the shorts excellent for warm conditions, bike park days, and active trail riding.
The race-ratchet adjustment allows for quick waist adjustment on the fly, and the zippered pockets keep important items securely in place.
