The shorts combine the technical fit familiar from ASSOS's road-bike range with gravel-specific details: better abrasion resistance, larger thigh pockets, and a chamois designed to dampen the continuous vibrations of uneven surfaces.

The most important updates of the T5 model are a lighter, more breathable, and more compressive construction compared to the previous GTC Kiespanzer C2 generation. Type.911 fabric is a firm, quick-drying, and hydrophobic material that does not absorb unnecessary moisture. UPF 50+ protection and odorControl make the shorts particularly suitable for long riding days, warm conditions, and touring use.

The ASSOS rollBar construction helps keep the chamois in the right place as weight shifts in the saddle during climbs, accelerations, corners, and uneven sections. The zeroPressure Waist construction improves comfort without a constricting feel, and the PILtec Plug-In leg grippers keep the shorts securely in place even in wet conditions.
