The Wolf Tooth Set of 5 Chainring Bolts + Nuts for 1X is a lightweight bolt set for installing a five-bolt chainring on a 1X drivetrain. The set includes five 6 mm long chainring bolts and five lock nuts. The CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum parts fit chainrings with through holes and no integrated threads.
The Wolf Tooth Set of 5 Chainring Bolts + Nuts for 1X is a high-quality mounting set for a single-ring 1X drivetrain chainring. The set includes five bolts and five lock nuts, making it ideal for five-bolt cranksets and chainrings.
The bolts are 6 mm long and optimized for installing a single chainring. They fit chainrings with unthreaded through holes that use separate lock nuts for mounting. The bolt set is not suitable for chainrings with integrated threads or threaded spider arms.
The bolt head has a 4 mm hex socket, and the lock nut has a 6 mm hex socket. Both parts can be held in place with standard hex keys, so no separate chainring wrench is required for installation.
The set fits Wolf Tooth Drop-Stop chainrings with unthreaded through holes and bolt-on mounting, as well as single chainrings from many other manufacturers. The five-bolt set is used, for example, on 110 BCD five-arm gravel, cyclocross, and road cranksets. The original 2X bolts on Wolf Tooth 110 BCD chainrings are usually too long, so the manufacturer recommends 6 mm 1X bolts.
The bolts and lock nuts are CNC-machined from lightweight and strong 7075-T6 aluminum. According to the manufacturer, the complete set of five bolts weighs approximately 13 grams. Several anodized colors are available, allowing the chainring mounting to match other Wolf Tooth components.
