Description
Wolf Tooth Mega Fat Paw Grips Black - grips
Wolf Tooth Mega Fat Paw Grips are extremely thick and soft silicone grips for mountain bikes. The 40 mm installed diameter and 11.5 mm silicone thickness effectively dampen vibrations and are especially suitable for large hands or for riding with thick cycling gloves. The tacky surface feel provides a secure grip in dry and wet conditions.
Detailed product description
Wolf Tooth Mega Fat Paw Grips are designed for cyclists who want grips that are thicker, softer, and more effectively dampen vibrations than standard grips. Once installed, the grip diameter is 40 mm, making the Mega Fat Paw one of Wolf Tooth's thickest silicone grips.
The thick 11.5 mm silicone layer adapts to the shape of the hand and distributes pressure over a wider area. The dual-density silicone compound is designed to reduce hand fatigue, finger numbness, and vibrations transmitted from the handlebars on long or uneven routes. The grips are especially well suited for riders with large hands as well as those wearing thick cycling gloves.
The tacky surface texture provides a secure grip both with bare hands and with cycling gloves. The material maintains a good feel even in wet conditions, and a secure grip does not require unnecessarily strong squeezing.
The Mega Fat Paw is a traditional silicone grip that slides onto the bar and is not a Lock-On model. The simple construction keeps the weight reasonable and allows for a thick cushioning layer across the entire grip area. Handlebar end plugs are included.
The extremely large 40 mm diameter should be considered before ordering. The Mega Fat Paw is best suited for a rider who clearly prefers a thick grip. For riders with small hands or those seeking a thin and direct steering feel, the model may feel too large.
