At the heart of the Terreno Mix is a fast-rolling center ridge that minimizes rolling resistance on hard surfaces and asphalt, while also providing a reliable braking surface on loose gravel and in wet conditions. This makes the tire an excellent choice for races and rides where the route surface is constantly changing.
The tire’s alternating open side knobs provide cornering and lateral grip, especially on grass, clay, and softer surfaces. The side knobs are shaped to feel smooth and predictable on hard surfaces, while digging in effectively when grip is critical. This makes the Terreno Mix a highly dependable tire on off-camber sections and through technical corners, too.
The Graphene 2.0 compound improves the tire’s durability, grip, and rolling efficiency all at once. Graphene reinforces the rubber compound, reduces rolling resistance, and improves wet grip—qualities that are especially important in cyclocross and on mixed-surface gravel rides.
