The semi-slick tread with coarse shoulder knobs rolls easily and provides good grip in corners even on loose surfaces. The graphene-containing G2 compound optimizes rolling resistance, grip, and durability by using different rubber compounds in different parts of the tire.

The Terreno Dry’s signature feature is its iconic fish-scale tread, which behaves differently depending on the riding conditions. On straight sections, the tread rolls exceptionally smoothly, almost like a slick tire, but when leaning into corners and braking, the knobs engage to provide reliable grip through corners and on loose gravel. This makes the tire exceptionally predictable and easy to control on changing surfaces.
The tire’s performance is based on the Graphene 2.0 compound, with specific compounds optimized for different parts of the tire.
