XC speed, more grip on descents
The Vittoria Syerra is a 29 x 2.4" Down-Country tire that combines the rolling efficiency of an XC tire with the grip and durability of a trail tire. Its wide profile, aggressive side knobs, and Graphene 2.0 4C compound make it a fast yet confident choice for technical XC and Down-Country trails.
When a standard XC tire is no longer enough
The Syerra's center tread is designed to roll easily, while taller side knobs provide added support and grip in corners. The more widely spaced knobs help the tire clear loose dirt and mud, while providing traction on rocks, roots, and under braking.
The 60 TPI casing is more robust than a typical race-oriented XC tire. APF Anti-Pinch Flat reinforcements in the sidewalls protect against pinch flats and support the tire at lower pressures. The Tubeless Ready construction allows it to be used without an inner tube on a compatible rim.
The Graphene 2.0 4C construction uses four different rubber compounds in different areas of the tread. The center prioritizes rolling efficiency, while the side knobs use a grippier compound.
