Description
Vittoria Mota – maximum grip for wet and demanding conditions
Inspired by the muddiest DH tracks, Mota also comes in a Trail version that is ideal for enduro and aggressive trail riding. The tire’s tall, widely spaced Moto Block knobs dig deep into soft terrain and clear mud and loose material efficiently from the very first rotation. This ensures grip even in the slickest and most unpredictable conditions.
The tread’s progressive knob width, also featured on the Vittoria Martello, provides exceptional feel and control in corners. The tire transitions predictably between the center tread and side knobs, boosting confidence on technical sections, steep descents, and wet roots. Despite its aggressive tread, the ride remains controlled, and the tire never feels sudden or unpredictable.
The Graphene 2.0 compound, combined with Vittoria’s 4C construction, allows multiple compounds to be used in a single tire. The center is optimized for durability and braking grip, while the softer compound on the sides maximizes cornering grip and control. This makes Mota an excellent choice when grip matters more than rolling speed.
The Trail Casing, featuring a 120 TPI nylon casing, offers a good balance of weight, durability, and ride feel. The Tubeless Ready (TNT) construction allows for lower tire pressures, better grip, and a lower risk of punctures. Mota performs exceptionally well as a front tire in wet conditions, or as a pair when maximum grip is the priority.
