Vittoria Mazza Trail – controlled grip for changing conditions

The Mazza Trail was developed using years of athlete feedback and Vittoria’s most advanced tire technology. Its clearly defined center tread rolls efficiently on firmer surfaces while providing strong grip when accelerating and braking. The deep sipes in the center tread are angled in the direction of rotation to reduce rolling resistance and resist sideways slips, especially on off-camber and uneven trails.

The stepped leading edges of the knobs act as rolling ramps on straight sections, yet bite effectively into the terrain on climbs and under braking. The open center tread helps shed mud and loose debris, maintaining grip in wet and changing conditions.

Cornering grip comes from Vittoria’s signature Progressive Sipe Width technology. The side knobs are siped so that the inner edge flexes for grip, while the outer edge stays stable under heavy loads. This provides highly predictable, confidence-inspiring cornering without any sudden loss of grip.

The Mazza Trail features Vittoria’s 4C construction, with four different Graphene 2.0 rubber compounds precisely layered together. The tread surface remains grippy and responsive, while the base supports the knobs under braking and when cornering. The result is lower rolling resistance, improved wear resistance, and consistent performance over time.

The Trail casing, made with 120 TPI nylon, provides good protection and a lighter ride feel than the Enduro version, while remaining durable enough for aggressive trail riding and e-MTB use. The Tubeless Ready (TLR) construction allows for lower tire pressures, better grip, and a lower risk of punctures.
