GRX Di2 – Gravel Goes Wireless.

The GRX series, with components specifically designed for 1x12-speed Di2 drivetrain systems, is making its debut in the fully wireless shifting segment. The focus is on the RD-RX827 rear derailleur, based on the wireless models of the XTR M9250 series, with the BL-RX825 brake lever completing the concept. Equipped like this, gravel riders can experience what reliability means on any terrain, whether racing, touring or setting off on an all-day adventure.

Shimano GRX RD-RX827-SGS rear derailleur

Developed specifically for 1x12-speed drivetrains, the GRX rear derailleur combines wireless functionality with durability. This is the ideal foundation for seamless performance and precise shifting on any terrain, including rough and muddy conditions. The battery is well protected (battery not included) inside the derailleur housing, where it cannot slip even on rough terrain, yet it is still easy to remove when it is time to recharge.

Thanks to the Shadow ES construction, the electronic Di2 rear derailleur features a slim, wedge-shaped low-profile design. The stabilizer also fits seamlessly into the housing, leaving no edges that could come into contact with obstacles. This significantly reduces the risk of stone strikes or impacts. If an impact does occur, the rear derailleur absorbs it and immediately returns to its original position using the automatic recovery function. In addition, the innovative stabilizer with its double-spring design ensures greater chain tension.

Shadow ES | This construction is characterized by a low profile that reduces the forward-facing surface area of the rear derailleur. As a result, there are no protruding edges that could catch on stones or roots.
