SRAM AXS Pod D1 2-Button Wireless Shifter Controller
Compact and adjustable AXS controller for electronic shifting
The SRAM AXS Pod D1 is a two-button wireless controller for the SRAM AXS system. It is designed specifically to control an electronic rear derailleur and offers a more compact design than previous Eagle AXS controllers, along with good ergonomics and versatile adjustment options.
The functions of the two separate buttons can be configured in the SRAM AXS app to suit the rider's preferences. The controller can be mounted on either the right or left side of the handlebar, so its position can be matched to the other controls. A separate Discrete Clamp handlebar mount is included.
Wireless AXS control and customizable button functions
The AXS Pod uses SRAM's wireless AXS communication, so no shift cable or electrical wire is needed between the controller and a compatible rear derailleur. By default, the controller operates the AXS rear derailleur, but the button functions can be changed in the AXS app. For example, this lets the rider assign upshifting and downshifting to whichever buttons feel most natural.
The two-button, so-called Click and Fire design is made for clear, quick operation, even on rough terrain. The controller can be adjusted extensively in relation to the brake lever and grip, making it easier to find a natural position for the thumb. Its reversible design means the same controller can be mounted on either the right or left side.
Power is supplied by an easily replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery. The controller is also approved for e-bike use. This model is intended for compatible SRAM AXS systems, including Eagle AXS and Eagle Transmission AXS setups.
