Description
The SRAM T-Type Chainring Ø104 mm 1x12s 34T is a strong and durable 104 BCD chainring for SRAM Eagle Transmission T-Type drivetrains. The steel construction and T-Type tooth profile are specifically designed for the high torque, heavy use, and drivetrain wear of electric mountain bikes.
The 34T size is a good all-round choice for electric mountain bikes, trail, all-mountain riding, and enduro, when you want a suitable combination of climbing ability, riding speed, and drivetrain control. The 104 BCD mounting makes the chainring compatible with four-bolt spiders equipped with a 104 mm bolt circle.
The T-Type tooth profile improves chain retention and makes the pedaling feel smoother. The chainring is designed for SRAM's 12-speed T-Type Transmission system, but it is also backward compatible with Eagle technology and X-SYNC II drivetrains. This makes it a good spare part or upgrade for a 1x12 drivetrain when the crank uses a 104 BCD chainring mount.
SRAM Eagle Transmission 104 BCD 34T - technical specifications and compatibility
The SRAM T-Type 104 BCD 34T chainring is made specifically for e-MTB use, where the drivetrain is subjected to higher loads than usual. The electric motor's torque, heavier bike, and harder rear tire grip put more strain on the chainring than in a standard mechanical mountain bike. The steel construction helps extend its service life and makes the chainring a good choice for hard daily riding, enduro, and electric mountain bikes.
The aggressive T-Type tooth design supports chain retention in uneven terrain and helps the drivetrain operate smoothly even under load. The chainring is AeroGuard compatible if the crank or spider assembly supports the use of a guard.
