The SMITH Persist MIPS is a lightweight and highly ventilated cycling helmet for road, gravel, and everyday riding. The MIPS® system and Zonal KOROYD® enhance protection, 21 vents keep air moving, and the adjustment dial quickly gets the fit just right.
A comfortable choice for road and gravel
The Persist is designed especially for long days in the saddle, where good ventilation, a lightweight construction, and a discreet fit are paramount. Zonal KOROYD® combined with the In-Mold construction absorbs impact energy, while the MIPS® system is designed to reduce rotational forces on the head in angled impacts.
The helmet features 21 fixed vents and SMITH AirEvac ventilation, which directs warm air away from around the helmet and sunglasses. The design is engineered to work particularly well with SMITH sunglasses, both in terms of storage and ventilation.
The rear adjustment dial allows for fine-tuning the fit while riding. A soft interior lining and thin straps keep the helmet comfortable without unnecessary weight. The stated weight of the size M MIPS version is approximately 300 g.
