Description

Protective trail and enduro helmet, also for electric mountain biking

The Smith Payroll Mips is a mountain biking helmet with extensive coverage for trail, enduro, all-mountain and e-MTB riding. Its low-profile rear offers more coverage than a typical XC helmet, while its weight of around 400 grams and efficient ventilation make it comfortable on climbs and longer rides too.

Zonal Koroyd impact protection, Mips protection and the helmet’s internal support structure provide comprehensive protection for technical terrain. Thanks to its NTA 8776 certification, the Payroll is also well suited to e-bike riding. The VaporFit fit system, 19 vents and Smith’s AirEvac system complete a package that balances protection, fit and ventilation.

Koroyd, Mips and a secure fit for technical terrain

The Payroll’s Zonal Koroyd construction provides energy-absorbing protection in key impact zones without making the entire helmet heavy or enclosed. Mips helps reduce rotational motion transmitted to the head in certain angled impacts, while the integrated internal support structure reinforces the helmet.

VaporFit offers 270-degree adjustment around the head, making it easy to achieve a snug, stable fit even on rough terrain. The 19 vents and internal air channels keep air flowing, while AirEvac helps direct warm air away from the eyewear to reduce fogging.

The three-position adjustable visor works with both sunglasses and MTB goggles. Channels at the front provide a place to store eyewear, and the Ionic+ lining helps manage moisture and odors. The Payroll is particularly well suited to riders who want more coverage and protection than a lightweight XC helmet offers, but don’t need a full-face helmet.
