Description
SMITH Engage 2 MIPS – versatile MTB helmet with MIPS and Koroyd protection
The SMITH Engage 2 MIPS is a versatile cycling helmet for mountain biking, trail riding, gravel rides, and active general cycling. It combines a lightweight in-mold construction, the MIPS protection system, and Zonal Koroyd impact protection in a helmet that offers a great combination of safety, fit, and ventilation.
The helmet's extended rear section provides additional protection during off-road riding, where falls can occur quickly and from various directions. The adjustable fit system helps secure the helmet firmly on the head, while the lightweight strap design makes it barely noticeable even on longer rides.
The Engage 2 MIPS features the AirEvac ventilation system, which helps direct airflow through the helmet and reduce goggle fogging. The two-position visor protects against the sun and spray, and can be raised to store goggles.
SMITH Engage 2 MIPS – lightweight and protective helmet for trails, gravel roads, and everyday riding
The SMITH Engage 2 MIPS is designed for riders who want one well-fitting, safe helmet for a variety of riding. It works for mountain biking, trail rides, gravel roads, commuting, and recreational cycling when low weight, good ventilation, and modern protection technology are desired.
The MIPS Brain Protection System is designed to reduce rotational forces caused by angled impacts. The Zonal Koroyd structure complements the impact protection with a lightweight, well-ventilated honeycomb material. Together, these make the Engage 2 MIPS helmet a great choice for riders who want more protection than a standard basic helmet.
The helmet's 21 fixed ventilation ports and AirEvac construction keep the head cooler during climbs, in warm weather, and during high-intensity riding. The front channels make it easier to store goggles, and the adjustable visor makes the helmet functional for off-road and trail use as well.
The fit is easily adjusted with the dial at the back. The sizes cover most adult head circumferences, and the unisex design is suitable for both women and men.
