Description
The competition-ready Shimano XTR FC-M9200 crankset offers increased strength and reliability for world-class international racing and training. This ultra-lightweight version is optimized for maximum weight savings (XC) and utilizes iconic HOLLOWTECH II technology – a cold-forging process that achieves an excellent balance between high rigidity and light weight, while placing special emphasis on real-world impact resistance. Despite its light weight, it is stiff enough to provide masterful power transmission. Available in three different crank lengths (165 mm, 170 mm, and 175 mm), the crankset is compatible with all Shimano SM-CRM96 series chainrings.

The Shimano XTR FC-M9200 1 x 12-speed XC crankset with 168 mm Q-factor and 55 mm chainline is made for uncompromising racing use and represents a further development of the legendary HOLLOWTECH II hollow forging process from SHIMANO.

It is stiff enough for optimum power transmission, available in lengths of 165-175 mm and compatible with SM-CRM96 chainrings in all sizes. The FC-M9200 fulfils all the requirements of a lightweight and reliable cross-country crankset and the new XTR crankset offers increased strength and reliability for world-class racing and touring.
The crankset is offered in two application-specific designs - one for weight savings FC-M9200 and the other for more robustness FC-M9220 - and uses SHIMANO's proven hollow forging technology, which achieves a new balance between stiffness and weight while increasing impact resistance.
