Consistent braking performance and effective heat management
The Shimano RT-CL700 is a lightweight Center Lock brake rotor for road, gravel, and mountain bikes. The ICE TECHNOLOGIES construction efficiently conducts heat away from the braking surface and helps maintain consistent braking performance during prolonged and heavy braking.
The redesigned 3D-shaped aluminum carrier improves heat resistance and reduces brake rotor thermal deformation and brake squeal.
ICE TECHNOLOGIES construction
The RT-CL700 braking surface consists of a three-layer stainless steel – aluminum – stainless steel construction. The lightweight aluminum core enhances heat transfer and helps reduce brake fade during heavy use.
