Shimano BP-P03A-RF Resin Disc Brake Pads
Shimano BP-P03A-RF is a cooling-fin resin disc brake pad for Shimano 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes. The pad uses Shimano's narrow P-type pad design and is especially suitable for new-generation XTR and XT 4-piston brakes where quiet braking, good modulation, and effective heat management are desired.
Resin friction material offers a softer and quieter braking feel than metal pads. It is well suited for trail riding, enduro, e-MTB, and general off-road use when controlled braking power and lower brake noise are valued. The cooling fins help transfer heat away from the brake pad, which reduces brake fade on long descents and improves the pad's service life under demanding riding conditions.
The BP-P03A-RF is a good choice for riders who want the performance of a 4-piston Shimano brake but the quieter and more easily modulated feel of a resin pad. It also works well in situations where metal pads feel too noisy or grabby during lighter riding.
