Description
SCHWALBE Rick 29x2.40" tire for XC and trail riding
The SCHWALBE Rick 29x2.40" is a folding-bead tire designed for fast off-road riding, combining low rolling resistance, secure grip, and a modern 2.40" width. It is particularly suitable for XC, marathon, and fast trail riding where efficient progress is desired without a heavy tire feel.
SCHWALBE Rick – a fast XC tire for modern off-road riding
The SCHWALBE Rick is designed for riders who want excellent rolling performance from their tire, but also more grip and control than the most aggressively speed-oriented XC tires. It is well suited to situations where routes are fast but still require cornering grip, riding confidence, and reliable progress on varied surfaces. As a result, the Rick performs well in modern XC, marathon, and downcountry riding, as well as fast trail riding.
The 29x2.40" size brings a good combination of stability, comfort, and steering precision to the modern mountain bike. The wider construction increases grip and riding confidence, especially on uneven surfaces, while still keeping the overall feel fast and efficient. The folding-bead construction lightens the tire and makes it an attractive option for riders who value performance as well as an easily manageable riding feel.
The SCHWALBE Rick is particularly suitable for riders looking for a fast but modern wide off-road tire for racing, training, and active trail riding. Tubeless-ready compatibility, a lightweight construction, and good rolling performance make it a versatile choice for performance use.
