The Roeckl Villach 3 is a warm winter cycling glove for commuting, trail riding, and gravel biking. It is suitable for cyclists who need effective protection from cold riding wind but want to maintain independent finger movement when using the brakes and gears. WINDSTOPPER® material by GORE-TEX LABS and PrimaLoft® Gold CrossCore™ insulation combine wind protection, warmth, and the comfort required of a winter glove.

The flexible ROECK-GRIP® palm helps maintain a secure grip on the handlebars, while the palm and thumb padding increase comfort on longer rides. The long knit cuff protects the wrist and helps seal the gap between the jacket sleeve and the glove. The Fluo Yellow high-visibility color and reflective details enhance the winter cyclist's visibility.

Effective insulation and a design tailored for cycling

The Villach 3 belongs to Roeckl's exceptionally warm Extra Warm models. The CrossCore™ technology of PrimaLoft® Gold insulation utilizes aerogel to achieve good thermal insulation relative to the material's weight and volume. In practice, the goal is a warm glove that also allows the use of the bike's controls.

The WINDSTOPPER® material on the back of the hand blocks the cold riding wind. This is particularly useful on open road sections and when riding an e-bike, when the hands are constantly exposed to airflow. The Villach 3 is primarily a warm and windproof winter glove: the WINDSTOPPER® designation should not be confused with a waterproof GORE-TEX rain glove.

The ROECK-GRIP® used on the palm is a flexible and breathable synthetic suede material. Its grippy surface supports a controlled grip on brake levers and handlebar tape. The ERGONOMIC CUT design and foam padding increase palm comfort, while the seamless COMFORT-INNOVATION padding protects the thumb from pressure caused by the handlebars.

The long knit cuff and flexible wrist closure help keep the glove in place. The soft wipe surface on the thumb and touchscreen compatibility make it easier to use during riding breaks. The reflective details on the back of the hand and the outer edge of the hand complement the bright yellow color.

The five-finger Villach 3 is suitable for riders who value free finger movement. In the Trigger and Lobster models of the same series, some fingers share a common compartment for extra warmth. The glove's sufficient warmth depends on the riding wind, the duration of the ride, the riding intensity, and personal cold tolerance.
