Renthal Apex V2 Stem 35 – stiff and lightweight MTB stem
The Renthal Apex V2 Stem 35 is a high-quality MTB stem for modern trail, enduro, all-mountain and e-mountain bike use. It is designed for 35 mm handlebars and 1 1/8" fork steerers, and is available in 33 mm and 40 mm lengths. Colors are Black and AluGold.
The Apex V2 combines a lightweight construction, high torsional stiffness and Renthal’s typical finish. The stem body is forged and CNC-machined from 2014 aluminum, and the handlebar clamps are made from 7050 aluminum. The construction is designed to withstand hard off-road riding without unnecessary weight.
The wide stem body, the large 240-degree handlebar clamping area and the Zero-Gap lower clamp help support the handlebar effectively. The side-mounted steerer clamp keeps the rear of the stem tidy and helps produce a strong clamp around the steerer.
The 33 mm length suits riders who want quicker, more direct steering. The 40 mm length offers slightly calmer steering and more reach without making the cockpit long. Both lengths work well on modern mountain bikes with wide handlebars.
Renthal Apex V2 35 – V2-generation stem for demanding mountain riding
The Renthal Apex V2 is an updated version of Renthal’s well-known Apex stem. The V2 design meets the demands of modern frames, wider handlebars and a more aggressive riding style. The result is a stem that combines XC-style lightness, enduro-ready stiffness and the durability needed for freeride use.
The stem body is forged and CNC-machined. Excess material is removed from the inside to keep the weight low while the exterior stays strong and well finished. The wide 56 mm body profile increases torsional stiffness and makes the cockpit precise even in hard riding, on steep descents and on technical trails.
The handlebar clamp is based on Renthal’s two-piece 240-degree clamp design. The clamps slide to the center over the narrower part of the bar, allowing material to be removed from the front of the stem without weakening handlebar support. The Zero-Gap design on the underside improves bar support and makes tightening controlled.
The Black / Black finish is understated and easy to match with other components. On the AluGold / Black version, gold-toned clamps are paired with a black body. The stem is especially well suited to Renthal Fatbar, Fatbar Lite and other 35 mm clamp diameter handlebars.
