Threaded BSA bottom bracket for Race Face CINCH cranksets
The Race Face CINCH BSA30 is a bottom bracket for threaded BSA shells, designed for Race Face CINCH cranksets with a 30 mm spindle. It fits 68/73 mm-wide BSA frames and is intended especially for mountain biking, trail, enduro and general MTB use. The threaded design makes it a serviceable and sturdy option for frames with a traditional BSA thread.
The CINCH BSA30 bottom bracket uses single-row 6806 bearings, water-resistant grease and wiper seals to help keep dirt, moisture and mud away from the bearings. The machined aluminum cups provide a precise fit in the frame, and the black finish looks right at home on most bike builds. According to Race Face's official specifications, the BSA 68/73 mm version weighs approximately 87 g, is compatible with 30 mm spindles and uses the BSA frame standard.
Race Face CINCH BSA30 – threaded bottom bracket designed for a 30 mm spindle
The Race Face CINCH BSA30 is the right choice if your bike has a BSA-threaded bottom bracket shell and uses a Race Face CINCH crankset with a 30 mm spindle. It is not intended for 24 mm Shimano-style spindles, but specifically for Race Face's CINCH 30 mm system. The BSA 68/73 mm version fits standard 68 mm and 73 mm bottom bracket shells when installed with the correct spacer setup for the crankset and frame.
The threaded BSA design is straightforward to service: the cups are threaded into the frame with the correct tool, and the bottom bracket can be replaced without pressing it in. This makes it a good option for active mountain biking, where the bottom bracket is exposed to water, mud, washing and heavy loads. Quality seals and water-resistant grease help extend its service life when the bottom bracket is installed correctly and maintained according to mileage and riding conditions.
