Description

Extensively protective trail and enduro helmet, also for e-MTB riding

POC Kortal is an open-face MTB helmet designed for trail, enduro and e-MTB riding, with greater protection than usual around the temples and back of the head. A lightweight EPS inner structure and a seamless Unibody polycarbonate shell create a sturdy construction, while the efficient ventilation is designed to work with goggles so that the goggle strap does not cover the ventilation openings. Kortal also meets the NTA 8776 standard, in which the helmet is tested at higher impact speeds than the standard cycling helmet standard.

Breakaway visor, 360° adjustment and practical goggle compatibility

The Kortal features POC's patented breakaway visor, which is designed to detach in a severe fall and reduce the forces transmitted to the neck. The 360° adjustment system tightens the helmet evenly around the head, and the visor can be raised high enough to allow goggles to be stored underneath it. The Eye Garage integrated into the rear ventilation openings provides a place for sunglasses during riding.
