Lightweight and highly ventilated MTB helmet for fast trail and downcountry riding
POC Cularis Mips is a lightweight and high-performance mountain bike helmet for trail, downcountry and XC riding. The helmet's ventilation is designed using CFD flow modeling to ensure that air flows efficiently through the helmet even during technical climbs and at slower speeds. Extended protection zones at the temples and back of the head provide greater coverage during off-road riding, while the EPS inner structure is optimized to protect areas most likely to experience impacts.
Mips Air Node is integrated directly into the helmet's padding and provides rotational protection without the extra weight of a traditional Mips cage. Aramid reinforcements molded into the EPS structure improve the helmet's structural stability and protect against sharp impacts.
Breakaway visor, Fidlock and precise 360° adjustment
The Cularis's adjustable visor uses POC's patented breakaway design. The visor is designed to detach in the event of a severe fall, preventing it from remaining rigidly attached to the helmet and transferring unnecessary forces to the head or neck.
The 360° adjustment system distributes the helmet evenly around the head, while the Fidlock magnetic buckle can be easily opened and closed with one hand. The Eye Garage integrated into the front ventilation ports provides a secure place to store sunglasses while riding.
