What size bike should I buy?

To make sure you get the best fit, we recommend visiting us in person. However, we can provide a rough guide to choosing a size.
Keep in mind that the VAULT’s geometry is designed for 60–70 mm stems.
This means you can size down and use a longer stem if you prefer a more traditional riding position.

Redefining our beloved gravel bike while retaining the low weight of its predecessor. Increased tire clearance and improved race-proven speed,
with added comfort, while still delivering a superbly fast ride. In a medium frame size, the VAULT weighs from 8.25 kg.

OPTIMIZED FIT AND LONG-DISTANCE COMFORT

The VAULT’s increased stack heights create a higher and more comfortable

riding position for long distances. Stack increases by ~20 mm compared to the previous generation across all frame sizes.

The fork features a longer 415 mm axle-to-crown measurement, optimized for impacts and allowing massive tire clearance.

Revised suspension geometry offers versatile suspension fork options, regardless of terrain type.

The longer 52 mm fork offset and increased trail figures give

the Vault stable and predictable handling.

IMPROVED NEW GEOMETRY

The longer, slacker and taller progressive gravel geometry not only provides stability on fast-rolling gravel, but also helps keep you composed on rougher sections. The goal was to inspire complete confidence on descents while maintaining the right weight on the front wheel and precise cornering. The new VAULT allows you to use a stem 1–2 sizes shorter (10–20mm). Increased BB drop across all frame sizes helps deliver that “in the bike” feel familiar from mountain bikes, ensuring a stable and predictable ride. This is paired with shorter crank lengths, specified across all sizes. The compact frame design allows for a lower standover height (~20 mm), expands the range of suitable sizes and lets riders size up or down to suit their needs. Choose a more aggressive or relaxed riding position to suit your intended use.

ISO FLEX

Our patented ISO-FLEX technology is a ride-smoothing damper that
provides tuned compliance by creating a cushioning space between the seat tube and frame. The ISO-FLEX insert, which slides into the frame, consists of a tuned elastomer
and fiber-reinforced nylon.
The inner sleeve provides a secure interface, adding flexibility and damping the ride on uneven terrain.
The latest version of ISO-FLEX is designed to be felt, not seen. Its
clean integration creates a lighter, sleeker and hidden design. It is
also easier to service, requiring only hex keys for disassembly
and maintenance.
Compatible with any round 27.2 mm seatpost.
Allows riders to choose between a comfortable carbon post and a rigid post,
or, if you prefer, you can choose a dropper post for the roughest terrain.
Or add comfort at traffic lights =)

EXPANDED DRIVETRAIN & CABLE ROUTING OPTIONS

Equipped with UDH and a clean, removable front derailleur mount, the Vault is compatible with the latest 1x and 2x drivetrains.
Our proven cable port system, combined with the oversized head tube, means the Vault is compatible with both fully integrated
and semi-integrated cable routing options, or a combination of the two. Durable rubber downtube and chainstay protectors keep the VAULT quiet.

TIRE CLEARANCE

Dropped chainstays and a shaped seat tube allow for massive tire clearance,
without compromising frame stiffness or efficiency.
The driveside chainstay is optimized to allow as much tire clearance as possible,
while still allowing the bike to be fitted with road cranks with a narrow chainline.
The VAULT comes equipped from the factory with 700x40c WTB Vulpine tires
Maximum tire clearance: 700x50c

TOOLSHED IN-FRAME STORAGE

Pivot’s new Toolshed™ in-frame storage system lets you keep
your essentials close at hand, reducing the clutter caused by bike bags
—ideal for grab-and-go short rides or for carrying gear on longer trips.
The Toolshed™ cover is a technical work of art, with the easiest-to-use and
most secure locking system on the market. A built-in magnet
inside the cover holds chain locks in place, keeping them easily accessible. Attach your
favorite tool or accessory to the inside of the cover using the integrated
strap loop (strap not included).
Every Vault comes with two Toolshed™ bags,
designed to carry a spare inner tube,
essential tools or even a little extra room for a snack.

EXPANDED SIZE RANGE & FEATURES

In addition to the new progressive geometry, a sixth frame size has been added for smaller riders. The new XXS size makes the bike suitable for riders as short as 147 cm.
The XLarge size fits riders up to 196 cm tall.
As you’d expect from Pivot, each carbon frame is individually tuned to suit the rider’s size. The carbon layup, tube size
and shape are optimized to ensure the best ride feel for riders of all sizes.
Smaller riders don’t have to put up with an overly stiff frame, and larger riders don’t have to put up with a frame that’s too flexible.
