Description
The NoTubes ZTR Sentry MK3 29" is a modern, wide trail and enduro rim designed specifically for contemporary 2.5–3.0” tires. Its 32 mm internal width combined with Stan’s renowned BST design provides excellent stability, easy tubeless installation, and precise handling in demanding off-road conditions.
ZTR Sentry MK3 – wide, lightweight, and stable trail rim
The Sentry MK3 represents the latest generation of Stan’s NoTubes rims, achieving an exceptionally well-balanced combination of width, weight, and durability. Its 32 mm internal width supports wide trail tires, allowing them to maintain their natural shape without becoming blocky. The result is improved grip, reduced rolling resistance, and more predictable handling, especially in corners and technical terrain.
The rim’s low-profile sidewall and gradually tapering shape help the tire flex in a controlled manner upon impact, reducing the risk of rim strikes and improving comfort over rocks and roots. The 6069 aluminum alloy is lighter and stiffer than traditional 6061, while also being significantly more durable in demanding trail and enduro use.
Stan’s patented BST (Bead Socket Technology) is one of the most reliable tubeless solutions on the market. Tires mount easily, seal effortlessly, and retain air pressure exceptionally well. This allows for worry-free tubeless riding at lower pressures, improving grip and control without the need for constant maintenance.
The Sentry MK3 is optimized for 2.50”–3.00” tires using the WideRight concept, making it an excellent choice for aggressive trail riding, enduro, and e-MTBs. Its 32-hole design and high maximum spoke tension enable an exceptionally durable wheel build for heavier riders and demanding use.
