The Mucky Nutz MugGuard Long is a long front mudguard for mountain bikes when the goal is to keep splashes, mud, and wet grit better away from your face, eyes, fork, and the front of the frame. The 600 mm long design provides significantly more protection than short mini-mudguards, making it particularly well-suited for wet autumn and spring weather, winter trails, bike park riding, and year-round mountain biking. According to the manufacturer, the dimensions of the Long version are 600 mm in length, 85 mm in width, and approximately 105 g in weight.

The MugGuard Long is attached to the front fork at six mounting points with reusable VELCRO® straps. The design is engineered to sit securely in place without unnecessary rattling or wobbling. The shaped front lip directs splashes away from the rider, the sharper shape of the trailing edge helps to shed thicker mud from the tire tread, and the recessed fork bridge area improves tire clearance. Wider upper arms protect the fork stanchions and seals from dirt, which helps keep the suspension fork cleaner in demanding conditions.

The Mucky Nutz MugGuard Long is a good choice for a rider who doesn't want to settle for just a small splash guard. It offers wider coverage above the front tire and is especially suitable for situations where trails are wet, muddy, or soft. The smooth underside of the mudguard makes it easier to clean after a ride, and the flexible yet durable structure withstands the splashes, vibrations, and impacts of mountain biking.

The mudguard fits 26”, 27.5”, and 29” mountain bikes as well as most standard and Boost-spaced suspension forks. According to the manufacturer, there is tire clearance for up to 3” tires, so it also works with wider trail and enduro tires, provided there is sufficient space between the fork and the tire. The MugGuard is manufactured in the UK from 100% recycled plastic, and both the product and its packaging are designed without single-use plastic.
