NTA 8776 – What is it?
One of the safest helmets on the market. Intercity MIPS is NTA 8776 certified, the world's first safety certification for e-bike helmets. The certification confirms that MET Intercity absorbs significantly more impact energy than a standard helmet. The NTA EPS shell covers 10% more of the impact area around the two most vulnerable areas of the brain: the occipital lobe and the temples.

Visor
The wide, adjustable visor protects against wind, dust and insects. It is easy to remove on days when extra protection is not needed. Made from durable polycarbonate.

LED light
The magnetic USB LED light is attached to the top rear of the helmet. Visibility is maximized in all conditions. The magnetic attachment allows for easy and secure fastening, as well as easy removal and charging via the Micro-USB port.

Comfort
Intercity MIPS is exceptionally comfortable and secure thanks to the finished inner shell and MET Safe-T Heta adjustment system, which provides all-around adjustment and a personalized fit. The straps are optimally positioned, and the adjustable sections make fastening easy and reliable.

Fidlock® magnetic buckle
The magnetic Fidlock® strap attachment makes fastening the helmet easy. The padded chin strap ensures a comfortable feel against the skin.

MIPS® protection system
Includes the MIPS-C2® brain protection system. The helmet can slide relative to the head in the event of an accident, diverting harmful rotational motion. MIPS is a rotational control system that provides additional protection against certain impacts. The brain protection system (BPS) is attached to the inside of the helmet between the comfort pads and the EPS inner shell.
