Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO TR 29×2.4 WT 60 TPI – Trail, Enduro, and Downhill

The Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO TR is designed for demanding trail, enduro, and downhill riding, offering predictable control, excellent grip, and durability on varied terrain. This tire has achieved global popularity and won the most downhill races in the 2021 season.

Technical specifications:

  • Rubber compound: Dual Compound

  • Protection: EXO – sidewall cut protection

  • TPI: 60

  • Tubeless Ready (TR) & Folding

  • Wide Trail (WT): Optimized for wide rims

Tread and performance:
The DHR II's center knobs are wide and heavily ramped, ensuring unbeatable traction and braking grip. The side knobs provide support in corners and create a predictable transition from the center knobs to the edges of the turn. The width of the center tread makes the ride feel slightly "floaty," yet remains controllable. The open spacing of the knobs keeps the pattern clear, preventing mud and debris buildup. Rolling efficiency is maintained even in challenging conditions.

Intended use:

  • Recommended: As a rear tire, but also works excellently as a front tire

  • Terrain: Varied, from soft ground to rock and technical sections

  • Suitable for all weather and trail conditions, especially for trails and enduro/DH tracks

Benefits:

  • Reliable grip and braking even in difficult conditions

  • Predictable cornering and handling feel

  • Versatile, works as a pair with a DHF or Assegai tire

  • Durable construction and EXO protection make it an excellent choice for demanding terrain and e-bikes

The Maxxis Minion DHR II combines legendary grip, durability, and rolling efficiency, making it a primary choice as a rear tire or a pair for trail, enduro, and downhill use.
