The Shimano XT BL-M8100 hydraulic disc 2-finger brake lever fits seamlessly into the line-up of the new XT M8100 component group. It provides greater braking force with less effort on the fingers and an extremely linear response to lever movement.
The original mountain bike group continues its legacy: the Shimano XT Brake Lever BL-M8100
The new DEORE XT comes with either a two-piston brake for cross-country use or a four-piston brake for trail/enduro use. The new brake lever design is angled to provide two points of support on the handlebars, significantly increasing stiffness. This provides more direct feedback and braking performance, further enhanced by SERVO WAVE technology. The braking systems are therefore characterized by faster response, higher performance and shorter free stroke.
