Description
The Garbaruk GEN2.0 10-52T is a 12-speed cassette designed for SRAM Eagle Transmission systems, offering an extremely wide gear range and lightweight construction for demanding off-road riding. It is ideal for riders who want to combine a sufficiently low gear for steep climbs, precise shifting and race-level weight in one package. The 10-52T gearing and 520% range make it an excellent choice for trail, enduro, all-mountain and e-bike use.
For the GEN2.0 generation, Garbaruk has updated the shift ramps and tooth profiles specifically for Eagle Transmission drivetrains. The new design improves shifting, chain control and quiet operation, even under heavy use. The cassette fits a SRAM XD freehub and also works with an XDR driver using a 1.8 mm spacer.
Garbaruk GEN2.0 Eagle Transmission 10-52T – lightweight XD cassette for T-Type drivetrains
Garbaruk's Eagle Transmission-compatible GEN2.0 cassette is designed for use with all T-Type rear derailleurs. The manufacturer lists compatibility with SRAM XX SL Eagle Transmission, XX Eagle Transmission, X0 Eagle Transmission, GX Eagle Transmission, Eagle 90 Transmission and Eagle 70 Transmission rear derailleurs, among others. It is compatible with SRAM XD freehubs, and can be fitted to an XDR driver using a 1.8 mm Garbaruk spacer.
The cassette's sprocket sequence is 10-12-14-16-18-21-24-28-32-37-44-52, and its construction combines chrome-moly steel with a largest sprocket made from 7075-T651 aluminium. Garbaruk lists CNC machining as the manufacturing method and a weight of 370 g ±2%. For chain compatibility, the manufacturer recommends SRAM 12-speed Flattop chains; compatibility with other chains is not guaranteed. The cassette is also e-bike compatible.
