Description
FOX 28mm socket
Whether you are performing air spring maintenance or adding volume spacers to your Fox fork, the Fork Topcap Socket is an essential tool for loosening the top cap to access the air spring. In recent years, finding a suitable socket for the job has been difficult. Top caps have a fraction of the height of standard nuts, and most sockets are beveled, which increases the risk of rounding off the top cap. This socket is non-beveled and sits flush against the top cap to maximize contact points and ensure a secure fit, reducing the chance of damaging the top cap. It features a durable orange anodized finish and fits 3/8-inch drive ratchets. The 26mm socket fits 32-series forks and some 34-series forks, the 28mm fits most 34-series forks, and the 32mm size is for 36-, 38-, and 40-series forks, but it is never a bad idea to measure the diameter of your top cap beforehand to be sure.
