Lightweight and highly breathable full-face helmet for enduro and trail riding
The Fox Proframe combines the fixed chinbar of a full-face helmet with an exceptionally lightweight and open design. It is specifically designed for enduro, all-mountain, and fast-paced trail riding, where you want more protection than an open-face MTB helmet, but also the best possible ventilation while pedaling.
Mips protection, dual-density Varizorb EPS, and a fixed chinbar form a protective whole that meets the ASTM F1952 downhill helmet standard. The great advantage of the Proframe compared to heavier DH helmets is its highly open ventilation, meaning there is no need to take the helmet off during climbs or transitions.
Full-face protection without the heavy feel of a traditional DH helmet
The Proframe is a great choice for riders tackling technical trails, enduro, and bike parks who also want the ability to pedal while wearing the helmet. The fixed chinbar offers significantly more protection for the face and jaw than an open-face trail helmet, while the large intake and exhaust vents allow air to flow effectively through the helmet.
The Mips system helps reduce rotational motion transmitted to the head during certain angled impacts. The dual-density Varizorb EPS, in turn, helps manage impact energy generated at different intensities. The construction is designed so that the level of protection does not result in an unnecessarily closed or hot helmet.
The three-position adjustable visor is compatible with MTB goggles, and a removable GoPro mount can be installed under the visor. The removable and washable liner and the included alternative pads make it easy to fine-tune the fit.
