FixPlus Spacer Block 35mm – spacer for standard FixPlus straps
The FixPlus Spacer Block 35mm Slots is a lightweight spacer for standard FixPlus Straps. Its purpose is to create space between gear and the bicycle frame, front fork, or handlebars.
The Spacer Block is useful, for example, when you want to keep a dry bag, handlebar bag, gear pack, or other bikepacking equipment slightly away from the frame, brake lines, shift cables, or paintwork. On the handlebars, the spacer helps leave more room for cables and your hands.
The 35 mm slot version is intended for standard, wider FixPlus straps, such as the 35 cm, 46 cm, 66 cm, and 86 cm straps. For the narrower FixPlus Nano / Slim Fit straps, the correct choice is the smaller 18 mm Spacer Block version.
The package contains two black Spacer Block units.
Riser block between gear and frame, fork, or handlebars
The FixPlus Spacer Block is not a fastening strap, bag, or equipment rack, but a spacer used with a strap. It is threaded onto a FixPlus strap and positioned between the gear and the bike frame, fork, or handlebars.
The spacer helps prevent gear from pressing directly against the bike's surface. It can facilitate the routing of brake lines and shift cables, reduce abrasion from a bag or dry bag, and make handlebar bag attachment more functional when more space is needed for your hands on the handlebars.
The 35 mm version is designed for wider standard FixPlus straps. It is well-suited for situations where a larger dry bag, handlebar roll, fork-mounted equipment, or other gear pack is strapped into place using a 35–86 cm FixPlus Strap.
Spacer Blocks can be stacked on the same strap if more spacing is needed. The final attachment must still be carefully checked before riding to ensure the gear cannot shift or come into contact with the tire, spokes, brakes, drivetrain, or steering movement range.
