The Favero Assioma PRO MX-2 brings high-quality and affordable power measurement to mountain and gravel bikes as well. Both pedals have their own measurement electronics, so you are guaranteed to get accurate data on both power, left/right balance, and pedaling efficiency. The pedal electronics and the rechargeable battery are installed inside the pedal axle, where they are best protected, giving the pedals a high IP67 protection rating. The pedal body, developed by Favero, is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and stainless steel. The pedal is compatible with Shimano SPD cleats, which are also included with the pedals.

With power measurement, you get better information about your workouts, you can perform more effective and precisely targeted exercises, and you can control your effort during races or long rides. The advantage of pedal-based power measurement is its independence from drivetrain technology and the ease of moving it from one bike to another. After installation, you just perform a quick calibration via the Assioma app and you are ready for a ride. To install the pedals, you only need a high-quality 15 mm wrench. After the initial calibration, the pedals handle calibration automatically in the future, correcting for changes in sensors caused by, for example, temperature fluctuations.

Assioma PRO MX-2 pedals have both Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity and work with virtually all cycling computers, mobile apps, and other terminal devices that support power measurement. The pedals transmit data on pedaling power, cadence, left/right balance, and several other metrics related to pedaling. The pedals' battery life is 60 hours, and charging is easy via magnetic charging connectors. The pedals have a 53 mm distance from the crank, i.e., Q-factor, corresponding to standard pedals, and a thin 11.2 mm stack height from the axle.

This core is completely separate from the pedal body via a “split architecture” solution, which ensures IP67 water resistance, eliminates power gaps, and simplifies maintenance. The 6061-T6 aluminum body without electronics is designed to withstand impacts and heavy use without increasing weight. The SPD®-compatible cleat system is developed for heavy use, and its surface hardness is up to 800 HV, which is suitable for demanding off-road conditions.

Thanks to its modular construction, cyclists can easily switch between MTB and road pedals with the same reliable Assioma PRO power meter. With the IAV Power System, the Assioma PRO MX offers ±1% accuracy in all conditions – even during sprints, uneven pedaling, and when using oval chainrings.
