Description
Enduro CH 6902 LLB Ceramic Bearing
The Enduro Bearings CH 6902 LLB is a ceramic hybrid bearing designed for maximum rolling speed and efficiency in cycling applications. It combines hardened chromium steel races with lightweight silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic balls, reducing friction and improving rotation sensitivity, especially at high rotational speeds. The LLB seal provides light protection while maintaining extremely low rolling resistance.
Ceramic hybrid construction for high performance
The CH 6902 LLB is engineered for situations where maximum rolling speed and efficient power transfer are required. Ceramic balls are significantly lighter and harder than traditional steel balls, which reduces rolling resistance, lowers heat generation, and improves the bearing's response time under changing loads. In practice, this feels like more sensitive and faster rotation, particularly in hubs and other high-speed components.
Silicon nitride balls also do not corrode, making the bearing more resistant to moisture and varying conditions than an all-steel construction. Combined with high-quality chromium steel races, it achieves a balance between durability and performance.
The LLB seal is Enduro's low-friction solution, which protects the bearing from dust and splash water without a heavy contact surface. This makes the bearing particularly suitable for applications where rolling efficiency is more important than maximum sealing, such as front and rear hubs, light XC riding, or racing. If necessary, the bearing can be serviced and re-greased according to operating conditions.
The bearing is supplied pre-greased with low-friction grease that supports the performance of the ceramic balls. The ABEC-5 precision rating ensures smooth rotation and tight manufacturing tolerances, resulting in reliable operation over the long term.
