Integrated power meter and gradient simulation This model is built around the legendary OTS (Optical Torque Sensor), an integrated power meter that measures power with exceptional accuracy (±1.5%). A complete analysis of your pedal stroke is available (as an in-app purchase in My E-Training). It measures force throughout the pedal stroke and displays the power data in various graphs, helping you optimise your pedalling technique. This interactive trainer automatically adjusts resistance during your workouts and can simulate gradients of up to an incredible 24%—considerably more than the original Direto could manage. Robust construction and exceptionally smooth power transfer The sturdy frame with adjustable feet and reliable front-wheel support provide excellent stability and ensure exactly the same saddle position you’re used to when riding outdoors. The integrated flywheel gives you the feeling of riding your favourite route with your riding buddies. The Elite Direto XR Zwift Cog & Click connects directly to your bike’s chain, ensuring exceptionally smooth power transfer to the resistance unit and a realistic simulation of different workouts. It operates virtually silently and folds easily, making it convenient to transport and store. Fully compatible with almost all bike and software types Although the Elite Direto XR Cog & Click is designed to replace a traditional cassette, it is still fully compatible with almost all bikes that can accommodate 9-, 10- or 11-speed Shimano/SRAM cassettes; 9-, 10-, 11- or 12-speed Campagnolo cassettes; 12-speed SRAM NX; and 12-speed Shimano Micro Spline cassettes. This model belongs to a generation of fully interactive ANT+ FE-C- and Bluetooth-compatible trainers that work with a wide range of apps, software, computers and devices—including smartphones and tablets—running iOS, Android, OSX or Windows. You can train with Elite’s own software or use third-party apps and software compatible with computers, smartphones and tablets that support ANT+ FE-C and Bluetooth Smart protocols. The trainer’s heart-rate monitor and cadence-sensor function lets you connect a heart-rate monitor or cadence sensor directly to the trainer while it is connected to your software, transmitting the data via the standard FE-C ANT+ and FTMS BLE protocols. This function is especially useful on platforms such as Apple TV that support only two Bluetooth Smart sensors at a time. The trainer can also create a virtual heart-rate monitor if you use software that is not compatible with your heart-rate monitor’s protocol—for example, if you have an ANT+ monitor but use Bluetooth software or a device. The trainer immediately converts the ANT+ data from your heart-rate monitor and transmits it via Bluetooth to the app or device you are using. You get 12 months of free access to the My E-Training App, software for both mobile devices (Android and iOS) and desktop computers.
