The DT Swiss FR 1500 Classic 29" rear wheel is designed for demanding freeride and downhill biking, where maximum durability and performance are required. The new FR 541 rim combines lightness and impact resistance, while the 240-hub Ratchet EXP freehub ensures fast and reliable power transfer.

Designed for downhill, built to last.

The DT Swiss FR 1500 CLASSIC rear wheel combines top-class performance and durability for demanding downhill and enduro riding. The updated FR 541 rim profile offers a lighter construction without compromising impact resistance. The 30 mm internal width supports wide tires, improving grip and riding stability in technical terrain.

At the core of the wheel is DT Swiss's legendary 240 hub, equipped with the Ratchet EXP 36 freehub system, which ensures immediate and reliable power transfer. 32 DT Competition® spokes and DT ProLock Squorx nipples guarantee a durable and stiff construction that withstands even the most demanding conditions.

Tubeless compatibility allows for lower tire pressures, increasing grip and reducing the risk of tire punctures. The wheel is supplied with pre-installed tubeless tape and a valve, so it is ready to use straight out of the box.
