Extensively protective 3/4 MTB helmet for trail, enduro and bike park riding
The Alpina Rootage Evo sits between a traditional open-face mountain bike helmet and a full-face helmet. Its deep 3/4 design extends around the ears and down the back of the head, offering greater coverage than a standard trail helmet while maintaining an open design for ventilation and an unobstructed field of vision.
The Rootage Evo is designed specifically for trail, enduro, freeride, bike park and electric mountain bike riding. EPP construction is used around the ears and at the back of the helmet, Hi-EPS absorbs impact energy, and the Inmold construction keeps the whole structure strong without unnecessary weight. 17 ventilation holes and large air channels improve comfort during active riding.
Greater coverage than usual without the enclosed feel of a full-face helmet
The Rootage Evo's greatest strength is the combination of its protective design and comfort. The side sections extending around the ears and the deep rear section protect a larger area than a standard half-shell helmet, but the absence of a solid chin bar makes the helmet more ventilated and easier to use on climbs and longer rides.
The EPP around the ears and at the back is a multi-density material designed to withstand multiple smaller impacts. The Hi-EPS inner structure contains small air chambers designed to absorb impact energy. The Ceramic Shell, Inmold and Edge Protect constructions together form a durable outer shell and also protect the lower edges of the helmet.
The Run System Ergo Flex allows for precise adjustment of the circumference, while the 3D Fit system lets the height of the adjustment system be adapted to the shape of the head. The fixed visor directs air into the large ventilation channels and also protects against the sun and spray. The helmet is also Cam Ready and Neckbrace Ready, making it well suited for technical and fast-paced off-road riding.
