CARAPAX JR. – children’s mountain bike helmet
Inspired by the adult model, the Carapax JR. is designed to provide young mountain bikers with optimum protection on the trails. Its lightweight construction, extensive head coverage and long list of features make this helmet excellent value for money. Its low weight is achieved with Inmold technology, in which the outer shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell. This creates a sturdy structure that makes the helmet extremely durable.
The lower edge of the helmet is protected by an additional polycarbonate shell (Edge Protect), while the rear and temple areas extend lower to provide maximum safety on challenging trails. This further increases head coverage. Large ventilation openings ensure optimum airflow, insect nets keep bugs out of the helmet, and the visor protects your field of vision.
Run System Classic, combined with the height-adjustable Custom Fit system, allows you to adjust the helmet precisely to your head. If you wish, you can add a rear-mounted Multi-Fit Light LED light to the Carapax JR. for improved visibility.
