Description

Alpina Carapax JR Flash – lightweight junior helmet with integrated rear light

The Alpina Carapax JR Flash is an ultra-lightweight, high-quality junior helmet that combines safety, comfort and visibility. It features an integrated LED rear light to improve visibility in the dark and in traffic.

CARAPAX JR. FLASH

Inspired by the adult model, the Carapax JR. Flash helmet is designed to provide young mountain bikers with optimal protection on the trails. Its lightweight construction, extensive head coverage and long list of features make it excellent value for money. Its low weight is achieved with in-mold technology, which heat-bonds the helmet shell to the Hi-EPS material. This ensures a durable, sturdy construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by an additional polycarbonate shell (Edge Protect), while the rear and temple areas extend lower to provide maximum safety on challenging trails. This further increases head coverage.

Large ventilation openings ensure optimal airflow, a mesh net protects against insects, and the visor shields your field of vision. The Run System Classic, together with the height-adjustable Custom Fit system, allows you to adjust the helmet for a precise fit. The integrated Multi-Fit Light LED light at the rear improves visibility and safety.

Features:

  • Airflow Venting: Strategically positioned ventilation openings ensure optimal airflow inside the helmet

  • Ceramic Shell: Durable outer shell thanks to its three-layer construction

  • Custom Fit: Personalized fit with tilt adjustment at the rear

  • Edge Protect: The lower edge of the helmet is protected by a polycarbonate shell

  • Ergomatic: Easy-to-use buckle with a multi-step automatic lock

  • Hi-EPS: Excellent impact resistance thanks to Hi-EPS material (microscopic air pockets)

  • Inmold: Lightweight construction with the top shell heat-bonded to Hi-EPS

  • Run System Classic: Combined with Custom Fit adjustment for an optimal fit

  • Y-Clip: Adjustable straps around the ears

  • Fly Net: Mesh guards in the front ventilation openings keep insects out

  • LED Light: Rear LED light improves safety

  • Protective Shield: Visor protects against splashes and sunlight

  • Reflectors: Reflective elements improve visibility at dusk and in the dark
